J.M. Sheridan, rider of Yulia (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. H. Hynes, that D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of Thrifty Of Digby, had weighed in at 1.1lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was covered in kickback. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.S
O'Sullivan was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion. Having been informed of the nature of the enquiry and their right to be accompanied, D.S
O'Sullivan elected to proceed without accompaniment.
