The Raceday Stewards recieved a report from the IHRB Clerk of the Scales, that S. Coen, rider of Highbury See See had presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight, none of which were declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who explained the circumstances surrounding the overweight and apologised
Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Coen was in breach of Rule 198 (vii) (a) and having considered his record, (fourth offence), they suspended him for five racedays. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards granted a request from the trainer to allow S. Coen to ride at 2lbs overweight
Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Titanium (FR), trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away
