Permission was given for Symbol of Hope (GB) to be led early to post and to be mounted in the chute, for Woodhay Whisper (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for both Sarabi (GB) and Call Glory (IRE) to wear red hoods to the start.

Mangan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she switched her mount right-handed, when insufficiently clear, hampering Hannah's Return (GB) causing Ffrench Davis to check for several strides.
