In the first incident, Cox was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed Al Hofzan (IRE) to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, intimidating The Dark Baron (IRE) off its intended line into the path of Dayman (GER), causing that runner to give a bump to Bungle Bay (IRE), which in turn made contact with LANDLORDTOTHE STARS (IRE).
Shortly after in the second incident, Kirrane was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed Good Karma (GB) to drift left-handed without sufficient correction forcing Leavy to take a check off heels.
Following the race, Taryn Langley reported that Pearly Squirrel (IRE), placed fifth, ran too free and hung left-handed.
