It looked like he was beaten turning in, but he just really ground it out. I think he did similar in his maiden hurdle here last year when Rachael won on him. He likes it here and it's brilliant to get one for the Brookhouse's. It was a good run the last day and he made a mistake at the third last that really took him out of it. I'd say this sort of staying track suits him better. I've no plan for him but he could maybe go to Tramore next for a race over two-mile six. It's been a brilliant day.
