The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chiefs Kingdom, trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on the right fore post race
G. Brouder, rider of Chiefs Kingdom, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount landed awkwardly after the second and thought it took a lame stride and pulled up immediately. He added that on pulling up his mount felt sound.
