Formscan By Alan Magee - DECIMATION is quite lightly raced for a veteran and gained his only previous win on heavy ground in a Down Royal maiden hurdle. The selection has performed with plenty of credit when placed on his latest two starts over fences and meets Hitthehayson on 12lb better terms than when beaten under four lengths by that rival over an extended three miles here in November. Gringo D’aubrelle fell last time but won a valuable 3m1f Navan handicap hurdle on his penultimate start and appears reasonably treated over fences, while others to consider include Bigbraveboy and God Help Us.
