Formscan By Gary Carson - One-time Derby hope ALEXANDROUPOLIS is a fascinating runner here and should appreciate the softer conditions. He didn't make much impression in the St Leger last month but this is obviously a lesser grade now and he has the ability to be a big player despite carrying plenty of weight for a three-year-old. Star Harbour comes here in fine form and having been a close second at Dundalk last time he should be competitive again off 2lb higher. Smooth Tom won over hurdles at Listowel last month and is a couple of pounds lower than when last running on the Flat. He could reach the frame.
