Formscan By Alan Magee - SPANGLED SANDS has filled the runner-up spot on both outings over this trip and may score at the third attempt. The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt beat all bar Take Charge Star at Gowran earlier this month in a maiden that has already thrown up a couple of winners. The well-bred White Sand Beach is an obvious threat having gone close on debut at Punchestown, while Suspicious Mindz was third in a Listed race at Tipperary but didn’t back that run up when encountering soft ground at Roscommon. Zia Zabel and In The Gloaming are two newcomers to note in the market.
