Formscan By Tom Weekes - KINGKONG CIERGUES is a heavy-ground stayer who is an able type in handicaps. Winner of a 2024 point-to-point, the selection disappointed on his initial hurdles runs but has been running consistently well recently, with the form of his Fairyhouse success being boosted by both the runner-up and third scoring subsequently. Joyau De Thiax also relishes testing ground and should compete under 6lb higher than when winning at Limerick. The Lovely Man returned following almost a year off for a new yard in November and while a ten-race maiden over hurdles, increased his chase rating to 124 with his Fairyhouse success. Well Del is rated 5lb higher over fences while Welsh runner Dixie Mafia stays well and has useful recent form.
