Formscan By Gary Carson - KING BOB looks capable of landing one of these off a lowly mark. The Irish Wells gelding has made up plenty of ground from the rear when finishing third on his last two outings. He moved into contention nicely at Punchestown last time, turning for home, before flattening out to finish third. He remains on the same mark and may be able to confirm form with Bruno From Mars, who was half-a-length behind last time after racing more prominently. Coffeys Forge was bang in contention when making a bad mistake at the last at Clonmel a fortnight ago. He has to be considered but dropping back in trip doesn’t look ideal.
