The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Titanium Emperor, ridden by D. Egan, placed fourth, Star Harbour, ridden by S. Coen, placed second, and Zillow (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed first, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Egan said he had to take a slight check. S. Coen said his horse hung left when he hit the front. J.M. Sheridan said he got slightly carried left but added he did not receive interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Coen was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays. Furthermore the Raceday Stewards advised J.M. Sheridan to be mindful of the need to be accurate in the provision of his evidence to the Raceday Stewards
D. Egan, rider of Titanium Emperor, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check close to the line
S. Coen, rider of Star Harbour, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left in the straight.
