The Raceday Stewards fined Daniel James Murphy, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Tribal Moon prior to entering the parade ring
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Tribal Moon, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman, placed third, Bint Elnadim Star, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, and Wegotogether, ridden by G.F
Carroll, placed fifth, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
Jessica O'Gorman said her mount drifted left after the whip was applied. J. Kearney and G.F. Carroll both said they received bumps from their right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Jessica O'Gorman in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered her record (second offence), they suspended her for four racedays
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Tribal Moon, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she had used her whip inappropriately. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having considered her clean record, they suspended her for two racedays
