The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Whelan, rider of Slieve Bearnagh, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Whelan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for five racedays
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D. McMonagle, rider of Out For A Stroll, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. McMonagle was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays
B.M. Coen, rider of Game Phoenix, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jinked coming out of the stalls and unseated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
R.M Mulligan, rider of Cu Chulainn (GB), trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped right leaving the gates
