The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.J. Carberry, rider of Read To Return, concerning his use of the whip between the second last and last fence. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.J. Carberry was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond
Having taken his previous record into account the Raceday Stewards suspended P.J. Carberry for three Raceday.
