Permission was given for Moostar (GB) and Style King (IRE) to both wear a red hood to post; and for Distant Rumble (GB) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post, wearing a red hood.
The Starter reported that David Egan, the rider of Pit Boss (GB) had originally entered the wrong stall.
After both the rider and Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Egan was cautioned.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, involving Moostar (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson and Cupola (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
Watson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without timely correction, moving Cupola (GB) right-handed, onto the heels of Camera Shy (IRE), placed fourth, and causing Probert to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Shane Kelly reported that Sandscreendeliverd (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed on the run to the line.
