Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Maker's Mark, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was very green up the straight
N.M. Crosse, rider of Thistle Cross, trained by M.M. Rice, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly in the straight
J.A. Powell, rider of Kilgharrahs Love, trained by Thomas Cleary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly in the straight
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Folk Warrior, ridden by D.P
McDonogh and Maker's Mark, ridden by Sadhbh Tormey where it appeared Maker's Mark crossed Folk Warrior
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. McDonogh stated that he gave a shout when he felt pressure from the right and had to take a check. Sadhbh Tormey stated that her mount was very green, was leaning left and she acknowledged that she could have gathered up her reigns to help her to straighten her mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted other than to remind Sadhbh Tormey to be seen to make a greater effort to keep her mount straight
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Slaney Swagger, trained by Aidan Melia, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race. Samples were taken for further analysis.
