The winner, Lunario (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newbury 10 July 2025, where the gelding finished seventh of eight runners, beaten 13 ¼ lengths.
Luke Dace’s explanation that Lunario (IRE) benefitted from the re-application of blinkers was noted.

Following the race, Aiden Brookes reported that Vixey (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run approximately one and a half furlongs out and Joanna Mason reported that Eligible (IRE), placed sixth, was denied a clear run approximately half a furlong out.
