Permission was given for Monty's Star (IRE), Resplendent Grey (IRE) and Myretown (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that The Doyen Chief (IRE) had refused to race after the start was effected and was therefore deemed a runner.
The Starter reported that the following riders had disobeyed the Starter's instructions: Jonathan Burke, the rider of Monty's Star (IRE); Ben Bromley, the rider of Intense Raffles (FR); Danny Mullins, the rider of Spanish Harlem (FR); J J Slevin, the rider of Blizzard Of Oz (IRE); Sean Bowen, the rider of Resplendent Grey (IRE); Sean Houlihan, the rider of Lowry's Bar (IRE); Charlie Deustch, the rider of Victtorino (FR); James Bowen, the rider of Hyland (FR); Freddie Gordon, the rider of Annual Invictus (IRE); Brendan Powell, the rider of The Changing Man (IRE); Kielan Woods, the rider of Riskintheground (IRE); Derek Fox, the rider of Myretown (IRE); Sean O'Keeffe, the rider of O'moore Park (IRE); Tristan Durrell, the rider of Panic Attack (IRE); Dylan Johnston, the rider of Katate Dori (FR); Tom Bellamy, the rider of The Doyen Chief (IRE); Tom Cannon, the rider of Grandeur D'ame (FR); Alex Harvey, the rider of Moon D'orange (FR); Ben Jones, the rider of Pic Roc (IRE); Harry Cobden, the rider of Inch House (IRE); Sean Cleary-Farrell, the rider of A Penny A Hundred (FR).
The riders and the Starters were interviewed, and recordings of the incident were shown.
The Stewards also wished to interview Jordan Gainford, the rider of Three Card Brag (IRE); Keith Donoghue, the rider of Perceval Legallois (FR) and Darragh O’Keefe, the rider of Gorgeous Tom (IRE) but were unable to do so as they had left the course to catch their flights.
The conclusion has therefore been adjourned to a date to be confirmed.
Following the race, Dylan Johnston reported that Katate Dori (FR), placed sixth, hung right-handed.
