Jones was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed away from the whip without timely correction, intimidating Angel Of Rain (GB) off its intended line, which in turn caused Marmoga (GB) to become short of room against the rail and for Da Silva to take a check for a number of strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference a furlong after the start involving Cupola (GB), unplaced, ridden by Dougie Costello and California Fling (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Frederick Larson.
Costello was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to edge left-handed causing Larson to take a slight check.
Following the race, Frederick Larson reported that California Fling (IRE), unplaced, was hampered shortly after the start and George Downing reported that Remember The Bear (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference leaving the stalls.
Pierre-Louis Jamin reported that Wonderbolt (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and hung left-handed in the home straight.
