Permission was given for Blue Orbit (IRE) and Utmost Respect (IRE) to both wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving Blue Orbit (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle and A’ALI G, unplaced, ridden by Warren Fentiman.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Fentiman to take a slight check.
Shortly after the start, Dublin Bay (IRE), placed sixth, edged marginally left-handed at the same time Dacres Cross (IRE), unplaced, shifted slightly right-handed, causing Rogue Supremacy (GB), unplaced, to be short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Dublin Bay (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong from the line, involving Rogue Supremacy (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope; Blue Orbit (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle; Utmost Respect (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Oisin Orr; and Temple Of Athena (GB), unplaced, ridden by Shay Farmer.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Farmer was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
The interference was found to be accidental as Farmer shifted slightly left-handed, taking Orr and Doyle marginally off their intended lines, which in turn caused Tudhope to become tight for room on the rail and having to take a check and loose position.
Following the race, Shane Foley reported that First Legion (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run in the final furlong; Daniel Tudhope reported that Rogue Supremacy (GB), was denied a clear run, shortly after the start and again approximately 1 furlong out; Hollie Doyle reported that Blue Orbit (IRE), unplaced, lugged left-handed under pressure; Warren Fentiman reported that A’ALI G, unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong from the line; and Rhys Elliott reported that Awraad (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run in the final ½ furlong.
