Formscan By Stuart Howden - DUTY BOUND won his only previous chase start over this course and distance last year and now reverts to fences off a favourable mark. The John Flavin-trained gelding has won twice over hurdles this season and having filled second spot at Gowran earlier this month, switches to fences off a 6lb lower rating and is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. Battle Of Ridgeway rates a threat having also won over course and distance and shaped well off a revised mark at Listowel last time. Nouvotic also won here over this trip on his penultimate start and appeared to find 3m2f too far at Kilbeggan last time.
