Formscan By Tom Weekes - Smart LE LABO won a course bumper last March and has been unlucky in two hurdle runs. A first-flight casualty here in November, he was then leading when exiting at the final flight at Cork in December, with race’s winner landing a Grade 2 subsequently and finishing second in a Grade 1 last Monday. Ex-French Laurets d’Estruval was weak enough in the betting when finishing second to a useful winner over Christmas and while he can progress, should struggle to win. Bulgaden Castle caught the eye here last month and while open to progression, tackles a stronger race. Smartly bred Maxfort showed promise on debut while A Piece Of Heaven prefers fast ground and is best watched on hurdling debut.
