Formscan  - KARTHON is an intriguing contender on just his fourth start in a handicap and Kempton debut. As a half-brother to a Group 3-course winner, there is enough in his pedigree to suggest the surface won't be an issue. Furthermore, a first-time visor and the assistance of Oisin Murphy could be key factors in a big step forward. Distinction has been in good form on turf but his Polytrack record is less inspiring. With that in mind, track specialist Uzincso could be a bigger danger to the selection.
