The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Land Me Safe, ridden by Mr J.L
Gleeson, placed fifth, Killeedy, ridden by Miss J. Townend, placed fourth, and Unquite Dreams, ridden by Mr D
Doyle, placed first, where it appeared Unquite Dreams made contact with Land Me Safe who in turn made contact with Kileedy. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr D. Doyle, rider of Unquite Dreams, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.Mr. D. Doyle accepted he was in breach of the Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. D. Doyle was in breach of R.10.3(g) (frequency) and in considering his clean record in this regard they suspended him for three racedays
Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Land Me Safe, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced too freely

For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the " Starting procedures for Tape Starts" and the IHRB suspended the relevant parts of Rule 208 and 209
An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a race, including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles), other than one I.N.H. flat race or National Hunt flat race Weights - 4-y-o 11st 5-y-o and up 11st 4lbs. Penalties - Penalty - Winner of an I.N.H. flat race or a National Hunt Flat race 7lb extra Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 13th July) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner of this race will receive a €5000 bonus (€7500 bonus if Irish bred and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle) should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H.
