The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Gangster Granny, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kate Harrington, authorised representative for the trainer reported that her charge had a wind operation prior to its last run and benefited from a step up in trip. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bear Creek (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a right front shoe but otherwise post race normal
