The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the bend into the back straight involving Tango Theatre, ridden by S.J. Fitzsimons, Celtic Crossing, ridden by P.J. O'Hanlon, and Move It On Over, ridden by G. Brouder where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G Brouder stated that he received pressure from his outside and he got forced out of position. P J O'Hanlon stated that pressure came from his outside which forced him in. S J Fitzsimons stated that he moved inwards as a result of the loose horse in front of him as he was cautious of clipping a heel. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S J Fitzsimons was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
G. Brouder, rider of Move It On Over, trained by John F. O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered inteference from his outside approaching the third last hurdle.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 0-100 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won. Riders - Professional & Claiming Professional Riders who have not ridden more than 15 N.H. winners in the 2025/2026 season (Qualified Riders are excluded from riding in this race).
