D. Egan, rider of Valiant Force (USA), trained by Robson De Aguiar, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Valiant Force (USA), ridden by D. Egan, and Heavenly Power, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it appeared Heavenly Power got tight for room on the rail
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Egan felt there wasn't much room for a horse between him and the rail and as he was on the heels of the horse on his left he couldn't make room. B.M. Coen said he received pressure when they met the running rail and he had to take back out of the gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
