Our previous winner was in the Leinster National at Naas and there has been a cloud over the yard since. It hasn't gone away yet but we think we have a couple of them right now and thought this fella was right. This horse was fairly right during the whole (sickness) period and it is 15 years since I had sickness in my yard. You almost forget about it, but this season has brought it back. At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Jordan Canavan, rider of Colesberg, trained by J.P. Flavin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount is a very difficult ride that is very keen and he was ridden to try get him to settle and come home on testing ground
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Boogie Inthejungle (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had sufficient momentum on the approach to the last but emptied just as he got to it when he was already committed. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
