The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Adrienne, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Sunlight Dance, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed third, and Treasure Rose, ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, where it appeared Sunlight Dance had to switch. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. D
Hayes stated that he maintained a straight line. D. P. McDonogh stated that the horse in front of him stopped very quickly had he had to switch off heels. B. M. Coen stated that he caused no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
