The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.P. Kelly, rider of Billy Lee Swagger, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Timmy Tuesday, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a small wound on its inside left fore fetlock but to be otherwise post race normal

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Anthony McCann, trainer, in relation to him contributing to a false start by standing on the track in the path of the horses when the starter called the runners forward. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and from the I.H.R.B. starter Mr. J.R. Banahan. Anthony McCann said he didn't realise he was on the track until it was too late and apologised for his error. Mr. J.R. Banahan said he couldn't start the race as Anthony McCann was on the track in the path of the horses. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the trainer was in breach of R272(i)(improper conduct) and having considered his clean record, they fined him five hundred euros.
