Glitter And Glory has been a model of consistency and, probably, her only bad run last year was in the Goffs Million which was on heavy ground. She has been so good up here and is just doing things right now. Seven furlongs is really her trip. She wants good ground and hasn't had a recent break, so I think if we get a bit of nice weather now we will give her 10 days in the field and bring her back for Irish Guineas weekend for a fillies' handicap. We said all last year that all the Lucky Vega's do is keep improving from two to three (years) and I think he is a sire that is going to have a very big season this year. It is great for the girls (Glamour & Glory Syndicate) to have a winner and this is our second runner of the new season, so it is nice to have a guide.

I was delighted. I've always thought a lot of that horse. His first run was in the Tatts Sales (Stakes, Curragh) and he wasn't really quite ready, and he ran really well. I stupidly ran him on soft, and then he ran here and he scoped so dirty. I think we will just give him a break now. Whether we get phone calls or not, he could be on the market. We only got her in the autumn from an online sale. She only had two runs in England and then one for us as well. She was maybe still a little bit weak, she's a big filly and we think she is now probably starting to develop. She found her level today and hopefully she improves. Wayne was saying she was lovely and relaxed. They did a great job riding her out and they got her to relax at home as well as she could be a bit keen. Lovely and relaxed today. If you go back to his second-last run in a maiden here, he was probably still a bit green. He ran well and Winsome caught him for third that day. He had been working really well at home, I have been very happy with the way he is working. I tried something different. Normally I would be always taking my time, but I said to be aggressive and jump out. They went strong and hard - 38 and 37 (mph) for the first few furlongs. I said they can't keep that up for the last furlong and he was going to come at them. He just kept battling, so I was delighted with that. Delighted for the lads that own him, they are with me a long time and they bred him. His half-brother is Tara Power, and the two of them have been working together and there is nothing between them. I'm looking forward to running Tara, that's all I'll say!. When you have a lad (Caffrey) like that there that knows the track, it is unbelievable. It is nice to give a horse over to someone and let them do their work - that's their job and I've done mine.

It was well deserved, he’s an honest horse and he tries every time,. He’s obviously not as good as he was in his younger days but still he’s a nice fun horse. He’s often in the money. Wayne said they went a good lick today. We said we’d ride him from the middle, we didn’t want to make the pace as sometimes he might do a bit too much in front. We said we’d switch him off a bit and it worked out grand. A strong pace over seven suited him perfectly. It’s a lovely place to get a winner, we’ve had a few winners up here. He ran well in a big handicap here a year-and-a-half ago. We’ll see what the handicapper does and we might come back here again.

Billy was available, which surprised me, as his agent rang to say he could do 8st 13lb, as he's on a new diet or something! He was strong on him there and it was a lovely ride. in fairness, I had a problem with him in the stalls as he was always constantly slow away but he's a very buzzy horse. The key with him was to get him relax and even early in the race today, he was racing a little bit keen. He's by Supremacy and the better surface really helped, along with that distance and being in this 0-60 grade. He has run in some very good maidens and down in Cork he ran very well in September, when not beaten that far. He was always learning, came out of a breeze-up yard so the main thing with him was always to get him to relax. The more racing he gets, hopefully the better he will relax. It will help his head. I don't have many horses for Dundalk, so hopefully we can have a bit of fun with a few and he will be in the same boat. We can run them away for the winter and he might come back here again. He'll be out of that grade now, so we'll see.

She is hard work at the start and tries to kick other horses but on her day, she isn’t too bad. She won here previously so we thought the track would suit and the good ground suited, so there was a lot in her favour. She got a good ride as he managed to get her to jump out well: she had been slow out of stalls a lot lately but got over that today. Our last winner was back in December and the bigger the gap, the more you enjoy it.
