Formscan By Michael Graham - EYE VAN wouldn't be winning out of turn having been placed in five hurdle races including when runner-up in a Grade 3 novice hurdle at Clonmel in February. He should come on from his seasonal reappearance second at Clonmel this month. Sam Magee was a nine-length winner of a point-to-point in April and a big run on track debut for Henry de Bromhead wouldn't be surprising. Gordon Elliott's Smooth Player ran as well as could be expected in fourth behind a long odds-on winner in Fairyhouse. Ottizzini showed potential in third in a couple of bumpers for Patrick Turley and has switched to Stuart Crawford ahead of her hurdling debut. Elliott's Cardamon Hill would be one of the leading lights if getting a run.
