Formscan By Gary Carson - KALYPSO’CHANCE was a smart bumper performer and looks the one to beat here on his hurdling debut. The Masked Marvel gelding started his career with two wins, including a Listed event at Navan, before finishing mid-division when sent off favourite at Cheltenham. He finished last season with a disappointing effort at Punchestown but is an exciting prospect now over timber. This doesn’t look like the strongest contest. The Guinness Boys may be the one to give him most to do. He ran a nice race when fourth at Punchestown recently. Stepdance has a couple of decent runs under her belt, over timber, and could be place material.
