THE NAAS RACECOURSE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) Another Abbot (IRE) wore ear plugs throughout the race and was given permission to go early to post.
Permission was given for All Ways Glamorous (GB), Gallant (FR) and Mesaafi (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Permission was also given for Existent (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
The raceday privilege request for Emperor Spirit (IRE), trained by Michael Keady, to wear a red hood to post was not submitted.
Keady was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
Approaching 1 furlong out, Artagnan (IRE), placed fourth, rolled left-handed on to the heels of All Ways Glamorous (GB), placed third, causing the rider of Artagnan to take a check for a couple of strides, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of All Ways Glamorous (GB).
Following the race, Jamie Spencer reported that Gallant (FR), unplaced, jumped left-handed from the stalls and was slowly away.
