The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Boyne Valley, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, Someone's Wish, ridden by M.W Hassett, placed sixth and Power Of Prayer (GER), ridden by H.J
Horgan, placed fifth, where it appeared Boyne Valley had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. Joyce stated that his mount was dropping away he had to sit for half a stride. M.W Hassett stated that he felt pressure from the outside but that he maintained his line. H.J. Horgan stated that his filly jinked right for a stride but that he immediately corrected her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards received a report from The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S. Coen, rider of Doctor Grace, weighed in at 1.1lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had changed into his heavy boots after weighing out and was unaware that the girth had subsequently been changed on his mount. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
W. Joyce, rider of Boyne Valley, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check
J. Kearney, rider of Nibras Rainbow, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a small bit tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and noted the report given, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
S.A. Wallace, rider of My Vonnie, trained by M.M. Rice, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout
Nicola Burns, rider of Deluca Chop (FR), trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left in the home straight
