A.J. Slattery, rider of My Girl Sioux, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount caught a heel approximately two furlongs from the finish. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
