At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.F. Roche, rider of Smaoineamh Sile (GB), trained by Conor David Maxwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was sluggish away from the stalls, ran too keen early in the race and stayed on one paced when the race was gone.
