Quotes on Orchidaceae (IRE)
We ran her in the Guineas Trial first time out this season and she ran a solid enough race and took a blow. She then ran flat and it turned out she was in season. We were hopeful she was in good shape coming into this, although we were quite concerned when the rain came. She settled well and picked up well. Her attitude was good, and Billy gave her a lovely ride. We’ll see where we go in handicaps and black type will be the ultimate aim.

Quotes on Exquisite Acclaim (IRE)
A horse like him, he's very consistent - he always gets his couple of races. It is great to get him back in front. He's a great fun horse and he pays his way. There's a race in Newcastle next week, it is 35 grand, and we might slip into it. It is for 0-85s, I think. We'll have to see with the ratings, but we might go there.

Quotes on Collecting Coin (GB)
He is a lovely horse, we've always thought an awful lot of him and he was shrewdly bought by Patrick (Cooper) from the John Dance-dispersal sale last February. He misbehaved at the Curragh and Cork earlier in the year so we gelded him since and he behaved impeccably today. He did what he was supposed to do, is a lovely horse going forward and we'll hope to pick a winners' of one next. We'll plot our way through the season as he is ground-versatile.

Quotes on Gypsy Queen (IRE)
She’s a homebred for Al Shira’aa so it’s important. She did it well and Billy said she loved a little bit of ease in the ground. She quickened up nicely but needs another bit of experience. We’ll try and find a winners-of-one or a fillies handicap. Seven (furlongs) may suit her even better as she was just on her head early on, but she’ll learn more again today.

Quotes on Little Empire (IRE)
Absolutely delighted with him. We had two bad days in York this year and the owner stuck by him. I knew we had a good horse on our hands. He's entered here for six furlongs on Wednesday and he probably will go for it. The penalty will bring him well into the handicap. It was (a competitive race) and I've to thank Luke McAteer who told me the last time to put Patrick on him to claim the 7lb off, and that that would be massive (for him). He'll probably get on him again on Wednesday. No, absolutely not (winning out of turn) - his form has been pretty solid. Probably my own fault for running him over the mile, I thought he would stay that being a Holy Roman Emperor, but he just showed there tonight that he has bundles of speed. We have to take our hats off to the young lad who rode him, Tommie Jakes, who was buried today. Tommie rode a double for me that night in April of last year (at Wolverhampton). We'd like to dedicate this win to young Tommie.

Quotes on Invincible Will (IRE)
He’s been a frustrating horse. The last day in Naas Robbie (Whearty) rode him and he was almost a runaway, and he’s done that a few days. We’ve done a lot of work with him at home, and we’ve even schooled him over hurdles and fences to settle his head a bit. There was plenty of pace on there today, which was ideal. It’s grand that he hung on anyway. A mile is no problem to him as long as they go a gallop. He’s learning to settle better.

Quotes on Smoke Them Out (IRE)
we thought he’d run well, we had a nice bit of work done with him and he acts on that ground. We were in two minds whether to claim off him but took (Tormey’s) 7lb off, as he hadn’t dropped since his last win. He’s a right old money spinner and an ease in the ground is important.

Quotes on Summer Island (USA)
He was in good form coming here and, he came out of his Bellewstown race very well. The ground was probably a little bit soft for him the last day, good ground here today suited him better. Paddy gave him a nice even ride, very straightforward. He picked up nicely and, galloped to the line. Hopefully, he'll be consistent in his grade, or even if he goes up a little bit, he'll still be consistent throughout the season for the owners.

Quotes on Eddie G (IRE)
He's a lovely little horse. He was unlucky in Galway this year and the handicapper gave him 4lb for that. He gave him 4lb for being second another day as well and sometimes when horses like this get two penalties for being second, they struggle. . Thankfully we got away with it and he got his win for the year. He was off injured early in the year, so it's great. . Padraic (Connolly) and the syndicate are from Galway and that was his first run in Galway this year when we ran him first time back.

Quotes on Oro Blanco (IRE)
We’re delighted with him. Ciaran O’Toole picked him up at the Goffs Classic Sale last year. We bided our time with him, gave him plenty of time, and fair play to the lads. He was just a big, weak, horse last year. He’s progressed from each run. He’s a nice progressive horse. We’ll see where we go from here.

Quotes on Prevalence (GB)
Very important - she is related to Juncture. As Colin said, it took us all of her three-year-old career (Juncture) to get her to tick the box we wanted. Total different filly tonight than she was the first night. She acted clueless on the first night and we knew coming (tonight) we had a different filly. Going to the start, I thought she was a bit on it. Then didn't have the pace to hold her position and I said 'for a small filly, you are going to have to be good now because he (Keane) had to take back and go'. She was good and honest. Time will tell how big the race is. We are a long way off where we want to be, but we will give her that chance now. She has all her three-year-old career to hit the boxes we need to be ticking for that pedigree. The good news is, job done at two, and I can stop now. You won't see her again before May.

Quotes on Una Matata (IRE)
she's tough and was a cheap filly, so I’m delighted for her, Adam (Caffrey) and the lads (Mark Devlin, Mark McGuckin & Claire Wylie). She has won three here for us this winter, has been placed a few times and it is a great to get fillies like that - it keeps things ticking over. Adam said she might have a little bit in hand still. I've no real plans for her, she will keep plugging away and could come back here for finals' day or we could go across the water with her. We'll give her a little bit of an easy week because she has had two races on the trot.

Quotes on Apache Outlaw (IRE)
The other horse, Current Option, is a very good horse and he owes us nothing. Apache Outlaw is on the way up. The other horse's best days are behind him, but he is still well able to compete in good races. I think he (Apache Outlaw) is a smart horse and he is going to go on a break now. We might want another run if we want to go to the All-Weather Finals, but we will look at that type of a target for him. It will be Newcastle - more money in Newcastle!. Ronnie is a top-class rider and he has been very lucky for me.

Quotes on Liberation Date (GB)
Great to get the first one. The horses have been running really well and we have had plenty of horses placed. This lady had good form coming here today and we were expecting a big run from her. She probably does (need every yard of that), but she will come on plenty now from that experience. She's a big lady and she's learning every day. She's going to improve again. We always thought plenty of her. She's coming now and she is learning off every run. Possibly she will be put away now and we'll wait for the turf to come back or we could come back up again here say in February or March. When she gets a break, she will strengthen up plenty for the break. When she steps up in trip, she will improve. Hopefully, she can bring us to some good places if she is not sold. As with all our horses, they are all for sale. Loved my time riding, and I suppose this was the next step and enjoying every minute of it. It is a completely different avenue to riding them. I have big support from Donnchadh (Doyle), so I have to thank him an awful lot. He has provided me with a yard, and he has filled it as well, so very lucky. I helped out with a few breezers last year and I got a good bug from that then. When Donnchadh and I spoke, that was the next step. There were plenty to train. I have a couple of two-year-olds that haven't run. They will run next year as three-year-olds. I have a couple that might run up here next week. Donnchadh has been very busy buying yearlings at the sales, so we are goin
