Formscan By Tom Weekes - THE PUBLICAN’S SON was a 200,000 dollars purchase at Florida’s Ocala 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale last March and might be useful. By a stallion who stands for just 6,000 dollars, the selection has a mostly American dirt pedigree but should be suited by today’s sound surface and will know his job on debut under his trainer’s stable jockey. Mission Central raced green when disappointing on his Dundalk debut and while probably capable of better, it is discouraging that he has been gelded since then. Stablemate Controlled is gelded for his own juvenile debut, which is unusual for a Ballydoyle-trained runner, and appears to be a negative. Watch Tower has recent form and can get involved.
