Formscan By Tom Weekes - STRAIGHT HOME was well enough held on her first run for new connections last month but shaped as though she might improve stepping up in distance. A point-to-point and bumper winner in early 2023, her form is largely unexciting and while heavily supported at Tramore, was outpaced before running-on for a never-dangerous third. Today's extra yardage should help and she is 7lb better off with that race's winner Stormalong. La Hacienda hasn't fully transferred her Flat form to hurdling but nonetheless was a Sligo winner in July and should again compete from her manageable rating. In-form Noble Hilltop is an experienced four-year-old filly and while she continues to progress, drops slightly in distance today.
