An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out involving Miss Mendoza (GB), placed second, ridden by P J McDonald, Neptune Legend (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Hector Crouch, and Badosa (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Rhys Elliott.
McDonald was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that he manoeuvred his mount left-handed moving Neptune Legend (IRE) off its intended line which in turn caused Elliott to have to take a precautionary check on the weakening Badosa (IRE).
Following the race, Joey Haynes reported that Dapperling (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and Tom Kiely-Marshall reported that Mayo County (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong.
