The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Gillian Scott, trainer of Red Hugh O'Donnell, for an additional ten minutes to present her charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Nakasero, placed first, as compared with its last run. Henry de Bromhead stated that his charge may have wanted a longer break between racing and this may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form today
Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the report given
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Green Icon (FR), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (80 = 10st) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won. Riders - Apprentices who hold an Apprentice Licence under Rules of Racing issued by any recognised Turf Authority and who have not lost the right to claim the 5lb allowance (65 winners) Also open to riders who have not ridden more than 10 winners under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing from 16th March, 2025 to 17th August, 2025 inclusive Not more than 16 runners will be permitted to run in this race.
