The Raceday Stewards received a request from G.M.Lyons, trainer of Amiata, to substitute the nominated rider G.F. Carroll, with C.T. Keane. Evidence was heard from Shane Lyons, Authorised Representative for the trainer
Shane Lyons explained that C.T. Keane was supposed to be riding in the UK today but couldn't due to transport difficulties. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the request on this occasion as provided for under the provisions of Regulation 3.
