He's a horse that has shown plenty of ability all year and just has done things a bit back to front. I thought coming out of his Down Royal run that we would progress, and we took a backward step in Galway. He was a bit free and just didn't really allow the race to happen. Today, he got a bit of cover and Donagh gave him a very good ride. I'd say the owners are very keen to run him in the Goffs Million, so I'd say that is where he will turn up. P.A. Harnett, rider of Ipanema Beach, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ipanema Beach, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Ipanema Beach, ridden by P.A. Harnett, My Corbett Court, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, and The Cosy Corner, ridden by R. Whearty, where it appeared The Cosy Corner ran short of room momentarily as Ipanema Beach jumped right from the stalls. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
