The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Ms. J. Taylor, that she was unable to find the microchip in Art Of Silence, trained by Gerard Keane. Evidence was heard from the IHRB Veterinary Officer and James Hyland, Authorised Representative for Gerard Keane. Ms. J. Taylor stated that she was unable to find the microchip on the horse but could positively identify the horse through his markings. James Hyland stated that he was unable to account for the missing microchip as they had not encountered this problem before
Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed Art Of Silence to run on this occasion under the provisions of Rule 90(iii) as the animal could be positively identified. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards advised the trainer through his Representative to re-microship his charge before running again
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from T.Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Share The Treasure, placed first, as compared with its recent form. T. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given
