Adam had a lot of confidence in the horse, and he worked up the Old Vic last week. He’s still on the weak side and we had him under trained more than anything and he said he was very green and idling in front. Tom Meagher bred him and he has the sire. His wife, her sister and another woman own him so they’ll have a bit of fun. He jumps very well and his work has been good, but I still think there is a lot to come. We’ll see how he takes the race and if he comes out of it well he’ll probably go for a winners bumper. Andrew Slattery, trainer
The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Bradley's Row, to run in accordance with the provision of Rule 90(v) as positive identification can be made but there are discrepancies in the markings as recorded in the Passport

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr A.T. Feeney, rider of Rokanako, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr A.T. Feeney was in breach of Regulation 10.3.b (the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone) and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr A.T. Feeney for two racedays
