J.A. Powell, rider of Whats It All About, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls
Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Spiced Gold, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung severely right
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately a furlong from the finish involving Tawaazon, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Platino Bianco, ridden by R. Whearty, and Apache Star, ridden by J. Cleary where it appeared horses came close together on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that the track configuration drags runners to the stand side and that the track narrows. He stated that his horse has not shifted or caused interference. R. Whearty stated that he sat behind the leaders, kept straight and caused no interference. J. Cleary stated that he made the running, at the two furlong pole his horse started back- peddling and he never had to stop riding. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Conor David Maxwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Platino Bianco, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that today's straight track and good ground may have accounted for the return to form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
