The Raceday Stewards enquired into two incidents on the turn into the straight involving Chica Guerrera, ridden by Keithen Kennedy, fell, Justenzia, ridden by Dylan O'Connor, fell, and Bridezilla, ridden by Andrew Slattery, placed second, where it appeared horses got tight for room in the first incident and Justenzia caught a heel, fell and brought down Chica Guerrara in the second incident. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Keithen Kennedy stated that he was travelling nicely, waiting for gaps when he received contact from his inside
Subsequent to that his mount got brought down by the stricken horse. Dylan O'Connor stated that he was full of running, he moved out but couldn't find a gap. He then switched in and Bridezilla bumped Casheldale Lass onto his path and he caught its heels. Andrew Slattery stated that the rail came out to meet them at this point of the course. His mount moved in slightly and Casheldale Lass moved out and the two horses bumped. Dylan O'Connor gave his evidence in the presence of David Egan. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Dylan O'Connor was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly in two separate instances, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for a total of 10 race days for both incidents
Paddy Harnett, rider of Superficial (FR), trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a check turning-in
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. P. Moloney, Clerk of the Course, and Mr. J. Sheehan, Head of Racecourse Security, in relation to a loose horse getting into the enclosure after this race. Evidence was heard from Mr
Moloney and Mr. Sheehan. Mr. Moloney stated that the gate into the enclosure was opened for the ambulance and that the gate staff at that gate weren't on the same radios as the other gate staff. Mr. Sheehan stated that the gate staff were giving priority to the ambulance and the horse slipped through. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards advised Mr.Sheehan that the gate procedures should be improved to prevent a repeat of this incident in future.
