The handicapper reassessed everything recently and gave her a chance by dropping her 2lb and letting her into this low-grade event. We had to have a go at it (with all-weather mark) and with this weather it is riding a bit slower. He ideally loves a bit of juice whether it is on grass or here. He was just wearing them down and he kind of needed every yard of it. Probably didn't travel as well as he can do early on. I was a little bit worried before the turn in that we weren't just travelling well enough, but they went quick enough. Rob is riding out of his skin, he's having a serious good run of it. I had words with the handicapper why he was dropping him on the all-weather and not dropping him on grass. He is always going to be proven right in these cases.
